The variety of conifers, ease of care, absolute unpretentiousness to climatic conditions — all this attracts gardeners and allows you to create an original landscape ensemble even in a small space. Which conifers are the best?

Among the numerous varieties of firs, pines, junipers, thujas, cypresses, firs, you can choose exactly the specimen that will most harmoniously fit into the landscape plan of your garden. In addition, the colors of needles and cones — from light green to blue-violet — will allow you to create original pictorial compositions.

A few tips for budding landscape designers

If you are just starting to shape your garden, regardless of the size of the space, we advise you to create a Coniferous Forest landscape plan. To do this, it is necessary to plant various coniferous plants: from dwarf ground cover shrubs to classic tall trees. The advantages of such a mono-composition are quite obvious: your garden will be filled with greenery and fresh aroma all year round, while the exquisite shapes and various colors of plants will allow you to create a unique design.

If your garden already has completely finished forms, it advises updating a multi-tiered flower bed with coniferous shrubs with a dense crown, planting a hedge along a fence of thuja or cypress trees, adding a few dwarf conifers to an alpine hill: it can be juniper, pine or a small Christmas tree.

And our agronomist will tell you about the rules for planting conifers in a small master class. Watch this short but informative video:
