Caring for remontant raspberries

After planting autumn raspberries, you need to fertilize it with ash containing potassium: this substance helps plants to overwinter. Nitrogen compounds are not suitable: they are usually used in the spring, when it is necessary to increase the vegetative mass. Raspberry care resumes in early spring, when the snow melts.

Life hack: in order for the raspberry to please the family with an excellent harvest, it is recommended to sow green manure plants (lupins, mustard, oats) at the place of future planting in a year. They will improve the structure of the soil and saturate it with nitrogen, if you dig up the earth in the fall, there will be good fertilizer.
