Fresh Pea Soup: A Delicious Summer Recipe

Refreshing and nutritious — a lunch recipe for a hot day.

Soup can be prepared with fresh peas or frozen. With fresh taste will be richer. You can also serve it in two ways — hot and cold.


  • peas — 6 glasses;
  • parsley — half a bunch;
  • mint — half a bunch;
  • onions — 1 pc.;
  • broth — 4 cups;
  • butter — 3 tablespoons;
  • sour cream — 6 tbsp;
  • salt and black pepper (ground) — to taste.

How to cook:

  • Chop the onion and fry it in the melted butter in a saucepan.
  • Add ½ of the broth to the transparent onion and bring the liquid to a boil. You can use water instead of broth.
  • When the broth boils, add the peas to the pan and cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
  • After 5 minutes, remove the soup from the stove, add the chopped herbs there, all that is left of the broth, and beat with a blender. You should get a puree-like mass.
  • Add sour cream to the soup, season with salt and pepper.
